A Few Floral Perfumes ( Omanluxury)
MARIYA
Mariya by OmanLuxury is a floral fragrance that steps further into gourmand territory, and although it was inspired by the ornate jewelry worn by Omani women, Mariya isn’t strictly a feminine fragrance—it could be worn by anyone who enjoys a sensual mix of sweetness and spice. This composition (by perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani) segues smoothly from a candied orange top note to a boozy, cocoa-dusted rose (fans of Tom Ford Cafe Rose, take note!) to a coffee-patchouli base that makes us imagine an espresso martini. This is a truly a scent for anyone who enjoys the small luxuries in life.
BELFIORE
With Belfiore, Oman Luxury gives us an olfactory postcard: a tribute to Wakan, a mountain village surrounded by lush terraced gardens on its slopes. Wakan is famed for its luxuriant palm trees, its orchards of figs, grapes, and pomegranates, and the fragrant beauty of its apricot trees in bloom. In this perfume (created by Marie Salamagne), an earthy-green carrot topnote leads to a heart evoking peaches, tea, and a light touch of leather. With a drop of mouth-watering honey to garnish its floral and fruity notes, Belfiore is elegant and just a little bit mouth-watering.
FLOWERLUSH
As you can probably guess from its name, OmanLuxury Flowerlush is an extravagant bouquet of floral notes that captures the magical time when spring is in full bloom and summer feels just around the corner, the days begin to lengthen and the evenings are balmy and breezy. The perfumers behind this fragrance (Philippine Courtiere, Maurice Roucel, and Pierre Gueros) have constructed a sweet and feminine composition of citrus topnotes, a blossoming heart of jasmine, rose, and cyclamen, and a soft, musky drydown. Flowerlush may appeal to fans of Parfums de Marly’s Delina, yet it has its own romantic charm.
