Beautiful fragrance, lovely bottle, super pretty liquid - all around a bit WIN!!

o was knocked off of the bottle. I immediately contacted “customer care” after receiving the pictures of the damages from my friend. MAXAROMA never apologized for the way in which the gift was sent. I sent them pictures and asked for them not to hassle my friend with return drama, as a gift should not turn into a hassle and through no fault of ours but rather MAXAROMA not packaging the fragrance properly prior to sending. After several phone calls speaking with Alexandria who turned out to never have any answers and no sense of how to solve a problem. I finally got an email back from Ronald Sanchez stating that once the severely damaged item was returned they would then send out a replacement bottle to my friend. Anyone can clearly see in the pictures that the bottle was severely damaged and not able to be used let alone not representative of the beautiful fragrance I purchased. I checked back with customer care more than a week later and once again Alexandria answered the phone and true to form, unable to answer any of my concerns. She tells me that the package says that it was not sent back to them. I contacted UPS and they stated that the label was “unable to read” and somehow it is loss in the system. Meanwhile I am out $218 for what was supposed to be a gift. UPS said that there was problem with the label MAXAROMA sent me and since the return address they printed was incomplete it was impossible for the damaged item to then be returned back to my friend. What ever happened to companies doing the right thing?! It was not my fault that MAXAROMA sent the item I paid them for in such a poor and ineffective condition. How should I now be out of $218?! This isn’t fair and is a horrid way to treat a customer. They make the mistake and then don’t take accountability for it and then make further mistakes with the return label and refuse to take accountability. So now I must open a dispute with my bank to get back the money I paid to MAXAROMA for lousy service. Buyer beware when they make a mistake they will not do the right thing. In all of this no one from MAXAROMA has offered me an apology. My advice to you all is to spend your money elsewhere. ZGO Perfumery, Lucky Scent and even Fragrancebuy.ca would never treat a paying customer this way. All is well when things go right but when MAXAROMA is wrong they won’t make it right.
